Championship Karate and Taekwondo, teaching kids and adults the fundamentals of martial arts and the confidence to never use them.  Learn an exciting mix of American Freestyle Karate, Olympic style Taekwondo, Kempo, Grappling, Hapkido, and weapons.  We offer classes for all ages, seminars, Kids' Night Out, summer karate camps, and karate birthday parties.

What We Do

Learning to defend yourself goes way beyond simply being able to control the gun of an attacker and take him to the ground.  Our master instructors teach kids and adults how to prevent situations from escalating to conflict, as well as practical ways to defend yourself once they do.  The blending of so many styles of martial arts allows us to teach the most effective techniques from each.

Additionally, CKTKD is uniquely qualified to teach children.  One of the owners and senseis is a certified school teacher with 10 years experience in the classroom and 15 years experience running summer camp programs.  Sensei Melinda has a knack for teaching kids martial arts in a fun and exciting way.
